The Department of Greek and Roman Studies automatically considers admitted students for full or partial support through teaching assistantships and Faculty of Graduate Studies Scholarships. The Faculty of Graduate Studies offers many awards in a university-wide competition; an application form is included in the admission application package and linked to the on-line admission application. Various awards are available from government, commercial and private agencies.

In order to be considered for support a student must apply for the major awards. Such awards include SSHRC fellowships (departmental deadline, October 15 for PhD applicants), Open Doctoral ScholarshipsGraduate Students' Association, as well as those offered through the Faculty of Graduate Studies Graduate Awards Database. For further information please refer to the Faculty   of Graduate Studies awards page.
